Farmington moves its offices from 21st Avenue South in Midtown to its current Green Hills location on Richard Jones Road.
Billy Hamburg, who would later become a partner in the company, joins the team at Farmington.

Hart Weatherford forms Farmington Financial Group, LLC, with the vision of creating a local boutique mortgage bank that would better service the consumer on a local level. The Farmington name is chosen because of its long history in the Weatherford family. Weatherford’s grandfather’s family was from Farmington, England, and when the family settled in Franklin, Tenn., the family farm was named Farmington.
